The Snowscoot was invented in 1990. The objective was clear from the beginning: a sporting tool with which it would be possible to enjoy prepared slopes as well as deep powder, and that with a technique similar to bicycling

From this the Snowscoot was born. It is a symbiosis between a BMX frame and a Snowboard, usually built in steel, aluminum or titanium, considering the highest quality standards possible. For the displacement one rides on two boards which are respectively connected by the frame and the fork.

In our area the Snowscoot is almost completely unknown. TICINOFREERIDE wants to offer an alternative discipline for skiers and snowboarders during the winter season, since the Snowscoot attracts people that previously probably never where attracted by the mountains. The technique is considerably easier to learn compared to skiing or snowboarding.

Furthermore the Snowscoot does not particularly solicit the leg joints, something that makes it interesting for all age ranges. We recommend that at first you take a course, so that you learn the right technique right away. Afterwards you will be able to ride the slopes by yourself in all security. The Snowscoot is suitable for both prepared slopes as well as for being immersed in deep powder.
